He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Ann and Arthur Leroy James; and his sister Theresa King. He is survived by: his children, Derek James and Brandy James; his grandchildren, Cheyenna James, Taliaya Lance, Sa'Vonna James, Kam'eron Lance, A'Lonna of Washington, Josiah and A'Vionna James; his siblings, Tina Bennett, Chris, Joe, Vanessa James and Lisa Fowler; and his girlfriend Lisa Black. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
