She was predeceased by: her former husband Daryl Bendewald of Wheelock, ND; her siblings, Alvin Iverson (Gladys), Inez Langager (Otto), Hazel Germundson (Gerald), Harold Iverson (Martha), Rudy Iverson, Kenny Iverson, Lester Iverson and Doris Sinness; and her siblings-in-law, Tony Kirschbaum, Clark Ecklund, Ed Varty, Lavern Broe, Alan Bendewald and Joy Gilbert.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Planutis; her children, Jon Bendewald (Leanne), Sheri Donovan (Bill), Jeff Bendewald (Melody) and Danny Bendewald; her grandchildren, Michelle, David Bendewald (Bekah), Rachel Bendewald, Aaron Gilliland (Lisa), Kellen Utpadel (Tami), Kyle Utpadel (Chelsey), Betsy Bartness (Tim), Natalie Donovan, Jack Thompson, Hailey Bendewald, Caleb Bendewald (Brentley), Sam Bendewald, Seth Bendewald (Julie), Kelsi Bendewald, Kendra Bendewald and Kate Pitts; her sisters, Jan Broe and Myrt Ecklund; and her sister-in-law Sally Bendewald. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, their children and many friends.
