He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scheich and Fern Scheich (Steffas); his daughter Sandy Wertenberger; and his brothers, Jimmy Scheich and Robert Scheich.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Lee Straub; his children, Pat Stein (Troy), Gerry Scheich and Gloria Ryan (Bob); his sister Sue Salenbien (Ben); and his sister-in-law Rita Scheich.
