Hurner, Jr. (Ella) and Theresa Hurner; his sisters-in-law, Georgia Matthews (Pastor Robert), Joyce Chambers (Howard), Cherry Rose (Andrew), Janice Shahid (Abdullah), Joann Dobbins (Clyde), Sheliah Campbell (Jeffery), Viney Jackson (Rodney) and Chandra Johnson (Daiz); and his close friends, James Malone, Ivan Brown, Willie Bell, Jesse Cohen and James Wright.
