He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Stuber and Mary Stuber (Crothers); his wife Bertha Lou "Bert" Holt; his sister Janice Brown (Rolla); and his brother-in-law Leroy Heck.

He is survived by: his sons, John "Mark" Stuber of Benton Harbor and Michael Stuber (Dina) of Troy, MI; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kelsie and Renee Stuber; and his sister Jean Heck (Karen Brandt).
