He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Homer and Pauline Porritt (White); his wife Arlene Brant; and his brother Dr. Thomas Porritt. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Porritt (Lynn) of Chanhassen, MN, Susan Nelson (Scott) of Hinsdale, IL, Lori Linforth (Jeff) of Northbrook, IL, Amy Peirce (Mike) of St. Joseph, MI and John Porritt (Kris) of Brookfield, WI. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
