John Buursma Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Buursma of Saint Joseph, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Buursma and Evalyn Buursma (Durham). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Buursma; his children, Joshua Buursma (Liz), Patrick Buursma and Jillian Carl (Ashton); his grandchildren, Eloise Carl, Zora Buursma, Magnolia Carl and Samuel Edward Buursma; and his siblings, Alan Buursma (Kristy), Kay Morrow, Sue Pickar (John) and Patty Morris (Eric). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, out-laws, friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation.
