In the sacred silence of farewell, JoAnn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that JoAnn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Payne and Beatrice Payne (Bryant). She is survived by: her children, Donald William of Chicago and Katherine Madolyn (France) of Lille; and her grandchildren, Cameron Nichols of Downer's Grove and Jordan Nichols of Chicago.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church - St. Joseph (914 Lane Dr, St Joseph, MI 49085). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Paul's Episcopal Church.
