It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Philip Moore in Saint Joseph, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Moore and Katherine Moore (Brookhiser); and his siblings, Arlene and David. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moore (Nutt) of Belleville; his children, Robin Currier of Canton, MI and Rod Moore (Kim) of Willis, MI; his sister Nancy Mohney; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gardner (Jason) of Canton, Jeanette Currier of Westland, Erin Moore of Adrian and Kaitlin Moore of Ypsilanti; and his great grandchildren, Kyla, Connor, Ryan of Canton, Maxx and Brady of Westland. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of James.
