It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Charleston (Saint Joseph, Michigan), born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away on May 8, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur, Sr. Charleston and Twyla Charleston (Roosevelt); his siblings, Wilbur, Jr., Jack and Betty Charleston; and his brother-in-law Ron Neuman.

He is survived by: his spouse Michele; his children, Christine Quigley (Martin) of Coloma, Michael Charleston (Dawn) of Stevensville and Elizabeth Meister (TJ) of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Quigley (Sarah), Samantha Czuba (Tom) and Zachary Quigley (Elizabeth Cloud); his sisters, Patricia Neuman and Mary Fester (Richard); his sister-in-law Ester Charleston; and his pets, Hail, Gizmo, Zoey, Leia, Mylo and Cali. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice.
