He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Ballard and Thelma Ballard; his wife Joan Bailey; his sons, Michael Ballard of Benton Harbor and James Ballard (Sabelle Clemons) of Benton Harbor; his brother Larry Ballard of Benton Harbor; and his grandchildren, Amber Sanders (Tommy) of Covert and Christopher Ballard of Colorado. He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
