She was predeceased by: her son Edward B. Daniels, Jr.; her parents, Roy Smith, and Rebecca Smith, Sr.; and her siblings, Joann Hellums, Annie Laura Carter, Roy B. Smith, Jr., Robert Earl Smith and William Isom Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Ilar Chari Craig; her grandchildren, Ivy Anderson, Breayon Rogers, Ashanti Naima Daniels and Danielle Anderson; her great grandchildren, Jorden Pittman and Kalib Bacon; her goddaughter Charmeen McCathern; and her sister Evelyn Houston.
