He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbert Klotz and Aletha Klotz (Bayle); and his brothers, Hilbert, Jr. and Alvon Klotz. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Klotz (Milmine); his children, Jessica Anderson (Adam) and Shawn Johnson; his grandchildren, William Anderson, Samuel Anderson, Charles Anderson, Kolby Johnson and Micah Johnson; his siblings, Scott Klotz (Kim), Cheryl Butcher (Tom) and Colleen Klotz; and his sister-in-law Charlene Klotz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
