It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Martin (Saint Joseph, Michigan), who passed away on February 27, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Garrett and Ethel Rose Garrett (Courser); her husband Kenneth; her daughter Sharlene Thren; her brothers, Ernest Garrett and Edward Garrett; and her sister-in-law June Garrett.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Mullin (Terry) of Mt, Stephen Thren (Joetta) of Hartford, KY and Stanley Thren of Lake Isabella; her brothers, Clayton Garrett (Carol) of Mt, Pleasant Garrett and Charles Garrett (Mina) of Weidman; and her sister-in-law Neva Jean Cole of Weidman. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 2 great great granddaughters; a great great grandson.
