He is survived by: his parents, Ralph Egbert and Catherine Egbert (Guth); his wife Elinor; his children, Doug Egbert (Mary) and Cheryl Hayes; his grandchildren, Delonda Griffin, Brittany Hayes and Donovan Hayes; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Christopher, Amaya and Darius; his son Gerald Jr.; his brother Victor; and his son-in-law Oscar Hayes.
