Whaling of Saint Joseph, Michigan, born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Sr. Whaling and Flossie Whaling; his wife Sheila; his sister Joan Murphy of Stevensville; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Whaling of Kalamazoo, Carolyn Carpenter (Howard) of Kalamazoo, Reverend Kirby Phillips (Carolyn) of Benton Harbor and Gentry Phillips Sr. (Rosalyn) of Benton Harbor. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
