He was predeceased by: his father Deacon Floyd; his brother Elder Duane Seats, Sr.; and also Bertha Seats. He is survived by: his wife Hattie Denise; his daughters, Nikola Cross of Indianapolis, IN, Shontielle Pagel (Tobias) of Chicago, IL and Geena Seats-Pearson (Miles) of Alexandria, VA; his siblings, Barbara Seats-Hall of Grand Rapids, MI and Dwight Seats (Veronica) of Benton Harbor, MI; his grandchildren, Trinerty, Ezekiel, Kindred, Axel and Miles Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Nicole Norman (Lamont), Duane Jr. Seats (Lana), Ericka Williams, Detra Whatley, Danica Whatley-Spencer, Kem Whatley (Nikki), Brandon Whitmore, Jasmine Ewell, K'Neesha Pullian, Gabrielle McGhee-Acker (LaToya), Anthony McGhee Jr. and Julie McGhee. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, cousins.
