He was predeceased by: his parents, Armend Janisse and Leah Janisse (LeBlanc); his daughter Denise; and his siblings, Pauline O'Brien and Roger Janisse.

He is survived by: his spouse Diane J. (Chauvin); his children, Donald Janisse of Chelsea and Renee Whipple (Mike) of Chelsea; his grandchildren, Kyle, Lexi and Kayla; his significant other Donna "Cheech" Hogan; his sister Suzanne Berthiaume; and his siblings-in-law, Stanley O'Brien and Bernice Janisse.
