He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Schwarz and Wilhelmine Schwarz (Banik); and his siblings, Natalia Schwarz, Landa DeBodt, Irmgard Schwarz, Linda Boehm, Rudolph Schwarz, Reinhold Schwarz, Herman Schwarz, Helmut Schwarz and Werner Schwarz.
He is survived by: his wife Lilli Rutsch; his daughters, Linda Gifford (Michael), Kathleen Goodwin (William) and Jenny Vance (John Kendrex); his grandchildren, Ryan (Brandyn Gifford), Kaeli, Kira (Kendra Juengling) and Evelynn Vance; and his sisters, Tabea Faatz, Meta Seltmann (Klaus) and Sigrid Kietzer (Victor).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oakridge Community Church.
