With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Karnatz (Saint Joseph, Michigan), born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on January 23, 2019 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert On and Annie Karnatz On (Neiman); and his siblings, Herbert, Leonard, Elmer, Gladys, Ruth, Alice and Ethel.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Laflin-Wardle; and his stepson Thomas Wardle (Lisa) of Ypsilanti. He is also survived by two granddaughters, one grandson and one great grandson.
