She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Gribble and Elizabeth Gribble (Krall); her brothers-in-law, Stanley Major and Bruce Hedlund; her husband Dennis R. Anderson; her stepfather Mike Ohmen; her in-laws, Alfred and Elna Anderson; her sisters, Gerri Hedlund (Bruce), Rita Major (Stanley) and Janet Loring; her sister-in-law Grace Nieforth (Dwight); her niece Terry Jo Carlson; her nephew David Carlson; and also Dr. James Caple.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Walla (Don) of Lincoln, NE, Laurie Caple of St. Joseph, MI and Lynn Petroff (Tom) of Marquette, MI; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Walla (Mark Reyes), Emily Walla (Mike Bell), Stephen Caple (Adelae), Ethan Caple, Lauren White (Brandon) and Kyle Petroff (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Eleanor "Nori", Elizabeth "Birdie", Arlo, Asher, Leighton and Holland; her nieces, Susan and Pamela; her nephew Michael; and her brother-in-law David Loring.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
