She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Avery and Jean Avery (Yearling); her husband Clarence "Willy" Birch; and her grandson Jacob Curley. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Shugars (Mike) of Three Rivers and Brenda Gillett (Bruce) of Ludington; her grandchildren, Shelby Curley (Anderson), Amanda Osborn (Phil), Dusty Shugars (Amy), Brent Gillett (Lindey) and Sean Gillett (Leah); her great grandchildren, Aubrey Marie Osborn, Lucas Wayne Osborn, Elizabeth Rogers, McKenzie Shugars, Aspynn Elizabeth Curley and Jameslee Gillett; her brothers, Robert Avery (Audrey) of Burr Oak, William Avery (Wanda) of Manton and Daniel Avery (Tonya) of Garrett, IN; and her friends, Tina Wilson, Amber Banks, Calvin Williams and Fredericka Woods. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
