He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Wendling and Elva Wendling (Judd); his wife Patricia Carney; and his sisters, Doris Williams, Alice Sweeney and Marilyn Miltner.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Wendling (Ellen) of Waynesboro, PA, Edith Luckett (Gregory) of St. Joseph, MI and Dennis Wendling (Jonathan Norman) of Streetsboro, OH; his grandchildren, John, Angela, Daniel, Stacey, Samuel, Benjamin and Joey; and his great grandchildren, Valarie Shannan, Chloe, Devin, Autumn, Kodi, Jacob, Oliver, Felix, Zeina and Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
