He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Darato and Delores Darato (Torkilsen); and his brother Alan Darato. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Lowe; his stepdaughter Jill Chapman (Keith) of Coloma; his stepgrandchildren, Alexandra Wilcox (Brendan), Austin Chapman and Steven Chapman; and his siblings, Raymond Darato (Lizbeth), Bonnie Estkowski (Michael) and Christine Jones (Christopher). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
