It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Abbey (Saint Joseph, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Abbey and Helen Abbey (DeBruin); and his siblings, Mickey Streby, Gordon Abbey and Larry Abbey.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Eckwielen; his children, David Abbey (Sheila Crowe) of Grand Rapids and Patricia Abbey-Larson (Alex Nemeth) of Troy; and his grandchildren, Anna, Ian, Owen Larson and Marlo Abbey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
