Daniel Welt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Welt in Saint Joseph, Michigan, born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Cooke and Shirley Elizabeth Welt (Poet); and his sister Susan Hamrick. He is survived by: his wife Janice A. Welt (Lauth); his children, Derek Welt (Jamie) of Johnston and Elizabeth Johnson (Matthew) of Saline, MI; his grandchildren, Destiny Welt, Nolan and Emmett Johnson; his brother Michael Welt of Grayling, MI; his siblings-in-law, Pamela Mendis, Paul Lauth (Ruth), Mark Lauth (Donna), Cecilia Birbeck (Chuck) and Sharon Innes (Mark); and his friends, Jerry and Jenny Lowhorn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face coverings are required inside the building and there is a limit of 25 people at one time.
