It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Marie Sotnyk in Saint Joseph, Michigan, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Charlotte Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charlotte Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Bates and Evelyn Granade (Fleek); her husband Jerry Sotnyk; and her siblings, Leslie Bates, Pat Ortiz and Ron Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Wittorp (Connie) and Melody Wildeman (Mark); and her sister Gladys McClintok (Bob). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church (66325 M-152, Dowagiac, MI 49047). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church.
