It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Soutar in Saint Joseph, Michigan, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Soutar and Patricia Soutar (Matthews); his wife Mary Jean Soutar; his grandson David Soutar Jr. (DJ); and his sister Julie Lopez.
He is survived by: his children, David Soutar (Melissa) of Belleville, MI, Jeanne Goodman (Steve) of Saline, MI and Eileen Soutar (Kristy) of Royal Oak, MI; his sister Eileen Fraser of Livonia, MI; his grandchildren, Leah Soutar, Heather Soutar, Colin Goodman and Emma Goodman; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Yarbro, Grayson Yarbro and Colten Soutar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the David C Brown Funeral Home (460 E Huron River Dr, Belleville, MI 48111). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
