With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Jewell (Saint Joseph, Michigan), born in DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gonnerman and Florence Gonnerman (Pearson). She is survived by: her husband Allen Jewell of St. Joseph; her stepchildren, Carol Allen (Tom) of St. Joseph, Brian Jewell (Patricia) of St. Joseph and Melody Jewell-Schramm of St. Joseph; her grandchildren, Keith (Suzi), Dawn (Lee), Amy (Chad), Lisa (Grant), Matt (Morgan), Nicholas and Danielle; and her goddaughter Alicia. She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of St. Joseph.
