She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Baxter and Virginia Clemens Baxter; and her husband Robert Halgren. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Megan, Macey, Katrina, Caroline Halgren, Grant and Dayna Schumm; and her great grandchildren, Kelsi, Vincent and Dane Boerman.

Memorial contributions can be made in Carol's honor to Eau Claire District Library or Maple View Methodist Church.
