Ann St. Amand Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann St. Amand (Saint Joseph, Michigan), who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, George Barger and Jean Barger; her siblings, Nelson, Amy, Erica and James; her husband Jeff St (Amand); and her children, Megan, Gregory, Joseph and Katherine. She was also cherished by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The Boys and Girls Club of Benton Harbor Legacy Sites, and St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation - Science Olympiad Fund, in Ann's honor.

“I'm so saddened that Ann is no longer with us. She was an amazingly kind and sincere person who shared her deep scientific expertise freely and took seriously her role as mentor and educator. I had the honor of working with her for five years in her volunteer editorial capacity for a scientific publication and in that time she was insightful, dedicated, and unfailingly positive. I will miss her infectiously upbeat nature and her contribution to water quality science.”
