She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wittmaier (Olga) and Olga Wittmaier (Rapske); and her husband John Bettig. She is survived by: her children, Frank Bettig of Grand Rapids, MI, Harry Bettig (Eileen) of Cary, NC, Gloria Droge (Dave) of Belgrade, MT and Jeffery Bettig (Vicki) of Belmont, MI; and her grandchildren, Sharon Chappa (Michael), Rachel Rhudy (Daryl), John T. Bettig, Michelle Mayo (Albert), Timothy Droge, Tamara Droge, Alexi Bettig and Lynsey Bettig. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Napier Parkview Baptist Church (245 W Napier Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022).
