He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Coon and Rachel Coon (Taylor); his sister Ann Marie Coon Butler; his aunt Ruth Taylor; and his uncle Howard "Doc" Coon.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Coon; his brother-in-law Keith Van Poperin (Judy); his nieces, Dana Ellsworth (Nathan) and Amy Gold (Shane); and his close friends, Steve, Jill Lyon, Sam and Jill Griffet. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
