It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera M. McKenzie of Saint Johns, Michigan, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Clifford Mashburn and Mattie Mashburn (Craven); her husband Roy "Jim" McKenzie; her son Daniel McKenzie; and her brothers, Mickey and Jay Mashburn.
She is survived by: her son Tom McKenzie (Christina); her grandchildren, Scott McKenzie, Sarah Kavanagh (Bryon), Megan Sheridan (Brian) and Matthew McKenzie (Lizani); her great grandchildren, Collette Anderson, Noah McKenzie, Finnegan Kavanagh, Kenzie and Keira Sheridan; her great great grandchildren, Aryia and Oberon; her half-siblings, Sandy Mashburn and Timothy Mashburn; and her in-laws, Ann, Barbara and Gary. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Rest Cemetery (701 E Steel St, St Johns, MI 48879).
