He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Gertrude Sheren (Lee); his stepfather Lewis Winney; and his siblings, Claude, Lewis, Ted, Mary and Luwanna.
He is survived by: his spouse Gertrud Sauer; his children, Gary Sheren of Perrinton, MI, Kevin Sheren of Lansing, MI and Lois Lash of El Paso, TX; his grandson Kirk John-Robert of Lansing, MI; his brother David Winney of Cooksville, TN; and also, Michelle Diane Sheren of Perrinton, MI, Shannon Marie Sheren of Lansing, MI, Sunnie Sheren of Lansing, MI and Sara Winney of Cooksville, TN.
