We bid farewell to Rita Antoinette Cole of Saint Johns, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 1, 2024 at the age of 101. Rita Antoinette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Steven and Clothilde F. Dufrene (Frickey); her husband Clifford; her daughter Andrea Mary McDiarmid; her grandson Jason Steven Hine; her siblings, Gail Michel (Richard), Irma Gros (Fred), Shirley Booth (Lawrence), Audrey Soileau (Howard) and Esther Mayfield (Jeffray); and her brother-in-law Milton Curole.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Ann Burnham; her grandchildren, Kristi Kemp (Kevin) and Chad Joseph Burnham (Shawndra); her great grandchildren, Kaleb Kemp and Kaylee Kemp; and her siblings, Vivian Curole, Melvin Dufrene (Shirley), Joyce Elloitt and Carroll Dufrene. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (104 E Cass St, St Johns, MI 48879).
