Lance (Purvis); his wife Ruth; his children, Richard Lance (Sandy), Diane "Lisa" VanAlstine (Rob), Rodney Lance, Randy Lance, Erika Alvarez (Chad) and Amanda Pratt (Shawn); his grandson Koen; his brothers, Harry Lance (Debra), Tom Lance (Sherrie) and Don Lance (Darlene); and his nieces and nephews, Lora and Lakota Lance. He is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His solid upbringing instilled in him a sense of duty and reliability that would shape his life's path, and he would go on to make significant contributions to his community.
