He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Barnhart and Pearl Barnhart (Steavens); and his siblings, Jack Barnhart and Catharine Messer. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Gene Parkinson; his children, Kyle Barnhart of St. Johns, MI, Kristi Jensen (Eric) of Hudsonville, MI and Kara Albert (Richard) of Saranac, MI.; and his grandchildren, Korey Barnhart, Zachary, Drew, Delaney Jensen, Ashley, Tyler, Alyssa and Allyson Albert.

Memorial contributions may be made to Two or More Christian Church, 800 S. US 27 #117, St. Johns, MI 48879.
