We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2024, at the age of 71, Monica Ann Craig of Saint Johns, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Francis and Mary Frances Nemcik (Mach) of Bannister, Michigan.; her brothers, Bob Nemcik and Larry Nemcik; and her brother-in-law Charles Bates.
She is survived by: her husband Bob of Cyril's Catholic Church; her children, Aaron Craig (Susan) of Hamilton, OH and Mary Nurenberg (Andy) of Westphalia, MI; her grandchildren, Hudson, Drew, Jackson, Eli, Vivian, Claire, Elise, Henry and Charles; her sister Jean Bates; and her sisters-in-law, Dodie Nemcik and Marcia Nemcik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St Mary's Parish Church (201 N Westphalia St, Westphalia, MI 48894). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (14546 W Price Rd, Westphalia, MI 48894).
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Mary's Catholic School, Westphalia, MI; Capital Area Community Services - Food Bank in St. Johns; St. Johns Area Community Fund; or American Cancer Society.
