Marcia Jean Schmitz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia Jean Schmitz of Saint Johns, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Plumstead and Hazel M. Plumstead (Peck); her husband Hilary John Schmitz; her grandsons, Alex and Aaron Fedewa; and her sister Linda Hufnagel.
She is survived by: her children, Darryl (Rosie Schmitz), Julie (Steve Erbe), Diane (Brian Simon), Denice (Jim Schultheiss) and Gail (Steve Lane); and her grandchildren, Hilary, Christopher, Greg (Chelsea), Michael (Brittney), Scott (Holly), Jennifer, Tony, Elizabeth, Eric (Elizabeth), Kurt (Michelle), Kara (Altin), Oriana (Thibauld), Zoe, Hannah and Quinn. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
