He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Skorna and Helen Skorna; his former wife Carol Moriarty; his children, Sue Vitous (Steve), Connie Skorna and Paul Skorna (Kris); his wife Linda Reist Skorna; his grandchildren, Brett Vitous, Andreas Skorna and Eleni Skorna; his sister Josephine Kridner (Ralph); his half-siblings, Gerald Smith, Larry Smith, Eileen Peters (Dave) and Beverly Snow (Terry); the mother of his children Carol Skorna; his stepchildren, Debbie Schestag (Gary), Jeff Reist (LeAnne), Rodney Reist, Joyce Reist and Courtney Beagle (Scott); his friend Theodore; his stepfather Frank Smith; his siblings, Steve Skorna, Joe Skorna and Pauline Carman; his stepson Glenn Reist; and his stepgranddaughter Megan Reist. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barden Funeral Home (225 W Center St, Ithaca, MI 48847). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Haven Church of God (8102 W Washington Rd, Sumner, MI 48889).
