He was predeceased by: his parents, Rostan Mehney and Ruth Mehney; and his brothers, Rostan "Rusty" Jr. and George Mehney. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Dean; his children, Paul Mehney (Sue), Jim Mehney (late Jan), Jackie Mehney, Susan Blackmer (Scott) and John Mehney (Hali); his grandchildren, Zack Olger (Mallory), Luke Olger (RaeAnn), Eric Hathcox (Jamie), Morgan Schaphorn (Tim), Brooke Mehney, Leighton Blackmer, Logan Blackmer, Lain Mehney, Bryn Mehney and Glen Mehney; his great grandchildren, Zayden, Reagan, Cash, Lucas and Wesley; and his sister-in-law Barbara Fenby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McGeehan Funeral Homes - Keck-Coleman Chapel (1500 Waterford Pkwy, St Johns, MI 48879). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McGeehan Funeral Home (1500 Waterford Pkwy, St Johns, MI 48879).
