He was predeceased by: his parents, Rostan Mehney and Ruth Mehney; and his brothers, Rostan "Rusty" Jr. and George Mehney. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Dean; his children, Paul Mehney (Sue), Jim Mehney (late Jan), Jackie Mehney, Susan Blackmer (Scott) and John Mehney (Hali); his grandchildren, Zack Olger (Mallory), Luke Olger (RaeAnn), Eric Hathcox (Jamie), Morgan Schaphorn (Tim), Brooke Mehney, Leighton Blackmer, Logan Blackmer, Lain Mehney, Bryn Mehney and Glen Mehney; his great grandchildren, Zayden, Reagan, Cash, Lucas and Wesley; and his sister-in-law Barbara Fenby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Angelman Syndrome Foundation or the St. Peter Endowment Fund.
