He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Ellen Flowers of Year's Eve; and his brothers, Fred Mayers (Claribel) and Raymond Mayers (Gladys). He is survived by: his children, Gary (Vara) of Huntsville, AL, Amy Davis and Dan Davis; his grandson Cooper Wm; his great grandchildren, Layne, Addy, Rayn, Jagger, Danny and Zane; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Beck, Marilyn Herbruck-Hall, Gloria Flowers and Cora Flowers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to his family for the Wil-Lu Farm restoration fund, to the church or to the St. Johns Honor Guard.
