It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Prudence Mills of Saint Ignace, Michigan, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Tamlyn and Martha Tamlyn (Mortensen); her husband LeRoy James Mills, Jr.; her siblings, Linda Novenske and Michael Tamlyn; her parents-in-law, Susan Cheeseman and LeRoy James Mills, Sr.; and her sisters-in-law, Edwardine Tamlyn, Linda Cheeseman and Faye Cheeseman.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Mills (Theresa) of Portage, David Mills (Kim) of Kincheloe, Michigan, Jeanne Flynn (Melburn) of St. Ignace and Cynthia Mills-Bauknecht (Eric); her great grandchild Samantha Dillingham of St. Ignace; her sisters, Laurie Stempki (Al) of St. Ignace and Marty Davis (Paul) of St. Ignace; and her brother-in-law Robert Cheeseman of St. Ignace. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
