He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Donald and Emma Loretta Brown (Kailing); his sons, Louis Brown and John Brown (Ryan Gill) of St. Ignace; his brothers, Steven and Bernard Brown; his nephew Josh Brown; and his great-nephew Tucker Shepard.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kameron Gill and Brady Gustafson; his caregiver Mary Lounsberry; and his siblings, Kenneth (Barbara Brown), Patti Ingram (Felix), Janet Brown (Tom), Mary Huskey (Dick), Mike Brown (Linda), Dennis Brown (Cheryl) and Richard Brown (Denise). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
