It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Fisher Jr. of Saint Ignace, Michigan, who passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Fisher and Mary "Monnie" Fisher (Bodwin) of Mackinac Island, Michigan.; and his siblings, Melvin "Oscar" Bodwin, Wilma Fisher-Green, Anthony "Tony" Fisher and Margaret Fisher-Fleming.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Heather Fisher Ogle of Sault Ste, Adam Fisher (LeAndra) of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Paul Fisher of St. Ignace; and his grandchildren, Colton Fisher of Mackinac Island, Aidan Ogle of St. Ignace, Cullen and Charlotte Fisher of Grand Rapids.
