He is survived by: his fiancé Shannon Brown; his daughters, Alyssa Clapperton of St. Ignace and Erin; his son-in-law Ray Laakko of Minnetonka, Minnesota; his son James; his daughter-in-law Jamie Clapperton of Vashon, Washington; his stepdaughters, Chelsea Brown (Michael Causley) and Casey Brown (Andrew Dixon) of St. Ignace; his grandchildren, Elias, Max, Joelee, Audrinna, Declan, Myles, Braden, Preston and Adlee; his sister Melissa; his brother-in-law Bill Cozat of Coleman, Michigan; and his pets, Bella, Darla, Quinny and Boo.
