He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Paquin, Sr.; his uncles, Tommy Paquin and Ron Paquin; and also, Tom and Elaine Huggins.

He is survived by: his mother Catherine Paquin of St. Ignace; his friend Larry Bird; his wife Patty Paquin of St. Ignace; his children, Cindy Paquin of Mt. Pleasant and Thomas Huggins Paquin of Grand Rapids; his siblings, Cathy McNeely of St. Ignace, Ed (Ellen Paquin), John (Pam Paquin), Cindy (Doug Miller), Robert (Kathleen Paquin), Andy (Brandi Paquin) and Joe (Heidi Paquin); and his sister-in-law Mary. He is also survived by many extended family members, and many friends.
