It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris L. Englebrecht of Saint Ignace, Michigan, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter and Bernice; and her brothers, John Babbin and Butch Babbin. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Robert Englebrecht (Michelle) of Central Lake, Mark Englebrecht (Corrina) of Custer, Diane Englebrecht (Shane Reed) of Ludington and Dr. Amy Englebrecht (David VerHaag) of Park City, Utah; her grandchildren, Mark Englebrecht Jr. (Kate) of Custer, Courtney Pomorski (Shawn) of Newaygo, Joel Englebrecht of Custer, Danielle Verbeke of Custer and Kylee Stark of Ludington; her sister Patsy Strayer of Scottville; and her sister-in-law Ruth Babbin of Ludington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
