He is survived by: his wife Sharon Pielak of West Branch, MI; his children, Greg Pielak of Manton, MI and Jammie Buddenborg (Gary) of St. Helen, MI; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gilbert (Aaron) of Fountain Valley, CA, Stacy Hancock (Jerry) of Howell, MI, Michele Gancitano of Highland, MI, Amy Silva (Rick) of San Jose, CA, Ellie Connett of Cincinnati, OH and Riley Connett (Ally) of Auburn Hills, MI; his siblings, Bernice Jones, Marcie Tonti and Pete Pielak (Debbie); and his close friends, Barb, Russ Hoover and Kathy Campbell. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
